How Does De-coupling Improve Performance?

Decoupling is making the interaction between a subwoofer and floor so weak that virtually no energy is transferred between them. The SVS SoundPath Subwoofer Isolation System features rigorously tested optimized durometer elastomer feet that significantly reduces the transmission of subwoofer energy through your floor and walls. This allows low frequency effects to be transferred through the air where they can be felt, resulting in tighter and cleaner sounding bass, no more distracting buzz or rattle from the room, and better sonic clarity and dynamics.

Be A Better Neighbor

Infrasonic jolts and subterranean levels of bass bring our entertainment to life, but they can also disturb neighbors and roommates because the longer, low frequency sound waves travel more effortlessly through walls and floors than mid-range and high frequency waves. It’s the reason your neighbor can hear a helicopter descending much louder than glass breaking. The SVS SoundPath Isolation System drastically reduces the bass notes and low frequency vibrations your neighbors and roommates will notice.

A Discreet, Affordable Alternative To Subwoofer Platforms And Risers

The SVS SoundPath Subwoofer Isolation System feet come in a variety of thread sizes that easily screw into most subwoofer’s existing threaded inserts and subtly elevate the sub enclosure on a cushion of elastomer encased in stainless steel. The understated feet are a stylish, more effective alternative to bulky risers and platforms, at a fraction of the cost and also work with some turntables and other components.

Great Addition to My Dual SB13-Ultras

I have these installed on a pair of SVS SB13-Ultra subs that I use for both music and movies. It’s a hell of a system, and these feet do a nice job of reducing unwanted vibrations without taking anything away from the bass. Easy to install and well worth the money. Not only are they functional, but they look great too!

    The rattle is gone.

I replaced my old sub I was using (a dual 12” car sub I wired with my car amp using a computer power supply for power) with a PB16 ultra when it was on clearance when it was discontinued. I added the sound isolation feet hoping it would help me but honestly wasn’t expecting miracles. My fireplace mantle would rattle like crazy and so would a book case. After I installed the feet my prayers were answered. I purchased several years ago (bought them October of 2024 and it’s now October 2016 at the time of this review)and over the last couple of years they are still working great. I actually just bout another set to give to to my brother as a Christmas gift hoping he enjoys them as much as me. If you face structural borne noise from your subwoofer these help. If you are on a concrete slab these won’t do much for you. My situation was night and day. Best upgrade to my subwoofer…next to actually buying the beast lol. Highly recommended product

New to me, but does what it’s supposed to do

There are heavy and solid. They screw right into the factory holes using the included screws. I purchased two sets for my dual SB 3000 evolution subs. I’m

Sure my neighbors will thank me but still a lot of air pressure.

    Subwoofer Isolation...who knew?

I'm getting ready to move from an apartment with carpeting to a duplex with laminated wood floors. So I wanted to make sure the sound coming from the sub (SB-3000) was delivered smoothly with no rattles or distortion. Am I impressed!!!!! Even on the carpeted floor the isolators make the entire sound system sound so much cleaner and punchy. So was it a good investment? 100% in every way. Thank you, SVS

Great additional to an already stellar experience

Exceptional quality, unlike the eBay knockoffs

Frequently Asked Questions

Do subwoofer isolation feet actually work?

Yes. Isolation feet help decouple a subwoofer from the floor, reducing the transfer of vibrations into walls, floors and surrounding structures. This can reduce room rattle while improving bass clarity and definition. It also reduces bass transference to surrounding rooms and buildings so you can be a better neighbor.

Are subwoofer isolation feet worth it?

For many systems, yes. Isolation feet are one of the simplest upgrades for reducing unwanted vibrations and helping a subwoofer perform more cleanly in the listening room without changing any equipment. Not all rooms will benefit equally, but it’s a low cost option that has the potential to make a big difference.

Will subwoofer isolation feet improve bass quality?

In many rooms, yes. By reducing energy transferred into the floor and surrounding surfaces, more of the subwoofer’s output is heard as intended. This can result in tighter, more controlled bass with improved definition.

Does the SVS SoundPath Subwoofer Isolation System work with other products?

Yes, the system can be installed on turntables, speakers, and other electronics that are sensitive to vibrations, or to create separation between components to improve airflow.

Do I need isolation feet if my subwoofer already has factory-installed feet?

Standard subwoofer feet primarily provide stability and floor protection. Isolation feet are specifically engineered to reduce vibration transfer between the subwoofer and the floor, helping minimize room interaction and unwanted resonance.
