Introduction to what a real subwoofer can be

I had a Sonance 10" sealed sub that I thought sounded pretty good. It developed a rattle so I started researching upgrades. After considering a few top tier brands, SVS's reputation for great customer service and high quality sound along with the fact that they were running a sale, I decided on the PB-1000 Pro.

Almost a year to the date after I bought this subwoofer, it developed a rattle behind the amp plate that would only show up at certain tones. After working with SVS's great customer service to troubleshoot the issue, they issued a warranty replacement authorization without the slightest hesitation. Even though I was slightly outside my upgrade window, they allowed me to return the subwoofer and apply the cost against an upgrade to a PB-2000 Pro.

Their customer service, along with the incredible sound quality has made me a dedicated SVS fan!

Extremely annoyed by the endless barrage of ads from SVS since my purchase.

    Replacing an original pb-1000 in a 7.2.2

I forgot how much this sub fills the room, not over powering but fluid. Other subs I've tried sound boomy, this sub almost sounds like it's not there except that the full spectrum of sound is there, but when an explosion or double bass drum shows up this sub shines. My other sub tries to hard and you can hear it, it will be getting replaced with another PB-1000 pro!
