Tri-Band Technology Works Flawlessly in Congested Wireless Environments

Auto-switches between 2.4 GHz, 5.2 GHz, and 5.8 GHz wireless bands to select the most stable channel for uninterrupted audio playback. Highly resistant to interference from Wi-Fi based security cameras, routers, smart TVs, and other wireless devices.

Uncompromised Sound Quality

Passes pristine 16-bit/48KHz audio signal up to 130-feet with no noticeable delay.

Eliminates Audio Cable Clutter

Streamlines home theater system setup by removing the need for long or complicated audio cables running along floors or walls.

Tri-Band Connectivity

True Stereo Signal

Left/Right stereo signal transfer unlocks wireless connectivity for one or more subwoofers, 2-channel zone of powered speakers, amplifiers, powered surround speakers, and more.

Full-Range Wireless Connectivity

Transmits the complete audible frequency spectrum (6Hz to 20kHz, +/-0.5 dB), providing a full-range wireless audio solution for subwoofers, powered speakers, and more. Great for adding additional zones to create single source multi-zone audio system.

Expands Placement Options

Adds wireless connectivity, giving you more flexibility when placing subwoofers, powered speakers, and other audio components in a room. All without sacrificing performance.

Reviews Summary
Customers say this wireless audio adapter is extremely easy to set up with plug-and-play functionality, connecting instantly without configuration. Users report excellent sound quality with no noticeable difference from wired connections and no signal dropouts or interference. Many appreciate the tri-band technology that eliminates interference issues experienced with other wireless adapters. Common feedback includes reliable performance at distances up to 30 feet and seamless pairing between transmitter and receiver units. Tri-Band Wireless Audio Adapter

I purchased the Tri-Band Wireless system and an extra receiver so my 2 Klipsch RP-1600SW's didn't have to use cables. These are excellent - no signal loss - ever. Being that the Klipsch version only uses 1 frequency band, costs the same as the SVS unit, the purchase was a no-brainer.

    Tried It

The devices did not work for my application. I needed to go from a stereo cabinet in my family room to a pool house to feed some outdoor speakers. The signal would have to pass through the exterior wall of the house and the exterior wall of the pool house approximately 65 feet away. It would not connect. It worked great when both devices were in side the house.

Works but does not work in my house

After hooking it up, the receiver was only about 20 feet away from the transmitter. I have the tri-band unit, but I’m not sure what’s causing the issue. The signal breaks up constantly. I have a smart home with a lot of wireless devices, so there may be some interference, but regardless, this system isn’t going to work in my house.

    Hi Matt,

Thanks for reaching out to SVS, and we're sorry for the issues you are experiencing with your SoundPath Tri-Band Wireless Audio Adapter.

Barriers like walls, furniture, entertainment center doors, and the metal chassis of nearby electronics will naturally reduce the effective range of the unit.

To the extent possible, moving the transmitter (TX) and the receiver (RX) so they both have a clear look into the room (and each other) can greatly help improve range.

While Tri-Band does have channel hopping capability to avoid RF congestion, keeping the Tri-Band TX/RX away from other wireless devices like AV streamers, baby monitors, and Wi-Fi routers/mesh nodes can also help.

If you are running a mesh network (likely in a smart home), the RF congestion can be so heavy that no wireless transmitter will work well. But try the above first to be sure.

Hopefully, these tips will help improve the range and quality of the connection. Thanks, and looking forward to your reply. Ed M - SVS
